Composition:
EPOSILICOTE is a two-component protective and decorative anti-corrosion coating. With a high content of borosilicate and allumosilicate microspheres, it has high energy-saving properties. The base is a suspension of pigments and fillers in the form of borosilicate aluminosilicate microspheres in a solution of epoxy resins, targeted additives and solvents.
EPOSILICOTE is an innovative epoxy-silicone-based anticorrosion coating designed to protect metal surfaces effectively against corrosion and overheating, even in aggressive environments (corrosive gases, salt water, alkalis, fuels, oils, etc.). This coating also offers thermal insulation and energy-saving properties, thanks to the presence of aluminosilicate and borosilicate microspheres.
Features :
- Waterproof: 100% and resistant to aqueous and corrosive environments.
- High adhesion: to concrete, metal and wood.
- Resistance: to abrasion and freeze-thaw cycles (over 300 cycles).
- Non-toxic: Suitable for potable water tanks.
- Durability: Up to 15 years (depending on application and maintenance conditions).
- Operating temperature : -60°C to +80°C.
- Color: Light gray (part A) and white (part B).
Packaging :
- Component A: 6 and 12 l
- Component B: 4 and 8 l
- Shelf life: 12 months (storage at -10°C to +30°C)
Application:
- Preparation: Mix components A and B in the recommended proportions. Mix component A for 3 to 5 minutes, then add component B and leave to stand for 3 to 5 minutes before mixing again.
- Application: Airless spraying in several coats. Final thickness between 350-450 μm, with a minimum of two coats.
- Conditions: Ambient temperature between +1°C and +30°C, relative humidity ≤ 85%.
- Drying time: 8-10 hours between coats (at 20°C), fully cured in 5-7 days.
- Ventilation: Apply in a well-ventilated space.

Safety precautions :
- Personal protection: Use gloves, goggles and appropriate clothing when applying.
- Avoid inhalation of vapours. Apply in well-ventilated areas.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary.
- If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and do not induce vomiting.
- Flammable: Avoid sources of heat and static electricity.
- PPE: Gloves, goggles and protective clothing required.
- Disposal: Follow local regulations for chemical waste.
Care and Cleaning:
- Clean tools with soapy water immediately after use.
- Do not discharge residues into drains or watercourses.
Storage and Keeping :
- Store in original, tightly closed container.
- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from frost and direct sunlight.
- Shelf life: 12 months under optimal storage conditions.
