Liquid thermal insulation coating

Composition:

ThermoClassicCote is a water-based liquid coating designed specifically for thermal insulation. Its composition is based on ceramic microparticles embedded in a blend of acrylic copolymers, creating an effective thermal barrier. When applied, these particles form an impermeable membrane that helps regulate temperature by limiting heat exchange with the exterior.

Used as an antifungal, anticorrosive and insulating coating, it is suitable for applications on interior and exterior walls, heating systems, sewers, water supplies, window frames, cisterns and tanks.

Characteristics:

• Composed of : Millions of hollow vacuum particles forming a watertight membrane when cured.
• Non-flammable: Flammability class B1.
• Operating temperature : -50°C to +150°C.
• High adhesion.
• Vapor permeable.
• Environmentally-friendly: Water-based, non-explosive.
• Antistatic and vibration-resistant.
• Sound insulation improvement: Minimum 10%.
• Increased durability.
• Reduced energy costs.

Applications :

• Compatible materials: Concrete, ceramic (brick and others), plasterboard, wood, plastic, granite, marble, stainless steel.
• Use: Interior/exterior walls, heating systems, window frames, tanks.
• Not recommended: Application in wet or frozen weather.

Surface preparation:

• Clean surface of dirt and grease.
• Prime surfaces before application, especially metal.
• Mix contents until homogeneous.
• Add up to 100 ml of water per liter if necessary.

Application methods :

• Apply by brush, roller or spray gun (wet film thickness 0.8 to 1.2 mm).
• Protect from rain until completely dry.
• Drying time: 3 hours for 1 mm thickness at 20°C and 60% humidity.

Safety precautions :

• Personal protection: Use gloves, goggles and appropriate clothing when applying.
• Avoid inhalation of vapours. Apply in well-ventilated areas.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary.
• If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and do not induce vomiting.

Care and Cleaning :

• Clean tools with soapy water immediately after use.
• Do not discharge residues into drains or watercourses.

Storage and Keeping :

• Store in tightly closed original container.
• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from frost and direct sunlight.
• Shelf life: 12 months under optimal storage conditions.
