Understanding of solvent-based products, mixing ratios, moisture-, chemical- and evaporation-curing products, water-based products, primers for new, wood and concrete substrates, and application to new and existing substrates.
Mastery of surface preparation, including pressure washing, abrasive blasting, scraping and salt decontamination.
Ability to interpret safety data sheets (SDS), application procedures and associated requirements.
Knowledge of the effects of weather conditions and relative humidity on the correct application of coating products.
